Quenton Nelson, an offensive guard for the Colts, wanted to clear up rumors and speculation surrounding his former position coach. Nelson made it clear he still has DeGuglielmo's back.
I’m seeing a lot of speculation/talk from outsiders talking bad about Coach Guge, and I just want to address it. He is a great fundamental coach and a great person. He unified us as an offensive line and pushed us to be the best. Anything else said about him is false.

Nelson is alluding to the huge controversy surrounding DeGuglielmo's release from the organization. One rumor is that

For now, DeGuglielmo will be looking for a new job. But, if he needs someone to put in a good word for him, it looks like Nelson won't hesitate in doing so.
