Cassius Winston has been a fan-favorite in East Lansing for the better part of four years, and he'll be remembered as one of the best players to ever suit up on the hardwood for Michigan State. During his final game at the Breslin Center, Winston checked out to an emotional standing ovation from Sparty faithful.
In the waning moments of the Spartans' victory over Ohio State, Winston was subbed off the floor and proceeded to hug his teammates, wave to the crowd and kiss the logo at halfcourt.
Winston has started 107 games for Michigan State, and featured in 138. This season he's averaging 18.3 points, 5.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game while draining 42.6% of his 3s on 2.4 makes per game.
The Spartans victory on Sunday night sets them up for the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament where Winston will try to help lead Michigan State to its second straight conference title.
