Well just as it was getting started, the main card at UFC Vancouver came to a crashing close. Justin Gaethje and Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone were in the first round of their clash when Gaethje landed a solid left hook, and then added a vicious right hook which sent Cerrone to the mat. Cerrone tried to get up, but was met with a flurry of uppercuts from the American. No matter how hard he tried to resist, he had no response to Gaethje's relentless blows.
That was the third consecutive first-round K.O. for Gaethje, as he managed to end the fight a cool four minutes and 18 seconds in.
And while seeking out his next opponent, he took a savage shot at Conor McGregor, suggesting the Irishman is no longer a threat in the world of UFC.
His next target? Gaethje wants one of the top dogs. He's going after the winner of the fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson, should that match get scheduled.
